Nature Walk for Health Series at Dickson Mounds July 25

LEWISTOWN, IL – The Emiquon Partnership-Dickson Mounds Museum, The Nature Conservancy (TNC), and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service-Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge are hosting the July 25th “Nature Walk for Health Series” at Dickson Mounds from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Participants may enjoy fun wildlife stories and facts during each walk.
This program series is offered on the fourth Thursday of the month through October. Locations of the walks will vary and may be dependent upon weather conditions. Space is limited and registration is required. Please dress appropriately, including proper footwear, for this outdoor activity. There is no fee to participate in this program; however, donations are appreciated.
The Illinois State Museum-Dickson Mounds is located between Lewistown and Havana off Illinois Routes 78 and 97. The museum is open free to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day.
