Attention young adventurers! Join the Illinois State Museum as we launch our summer program, Try It Tuesday! Every Tuesday, from 10 AM to 2 PM, we will host free hands-on activities for kids and families. From flowers to flight, these exciting experiments and crafts explore a variety of topics inspired by our exhibits. Try It Tuesday is only here for the summer, and you won't want to miss out!

Today’s Program: Celebrate the 19th anniversary of the Hale-Bopp Comet by learning more about astral anomalies with art and history. Learn what a is comet while constructing your own tin foil model and find out how people through the ages perceived these astral anomalies.
