Animal taxidermy has been a part of museum exhibits from the early “Cabinets of Curiosities” to today’s realistic landscape dioramas. Join ISM Zoology curator, Dr. Meredith Mahoney as she dives into the history of animal taxidermy displays at the ISM from the late 1800s to the present. See photo examples of past and present exhibits as well as historic taxidermy from the Museum's collections.
