Hecho en Illinois presents Lotería and Taco Night

loteria and Taco Night flyer In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Illinois State Museum and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources are collaborating to present Hecho en Illinois, a series of events commemorating Hispanic culture in our community. Join us as we partner with the State Historic Sites in the Dana-Thomas House courtyard for Lotería and Taco Night. Lotería is a traditional Mexican game of chance similar to Bingo. During the event, guests can play the game, listen to music, engage with community members, and enjoy a festive feast. Visitors can sign up for a tour of the Dana-Thomas House during the program.
