Violins of Hope: A Celebration of Survival Exhibition
Jewish Federation of Springfield is bringing 12 violins to Springfield.
These instruments, whether played or hidden, survived the Holocaust. They have been lovingly restored and have traveled the world to give voice to the victims and reinforce messages of hope, harmony and survival.
These historic violins will be on display at the Illinois State Museum beginning September 7th and will remain through September 13th.
