A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

Tara Ricker, owner of Within Walking Distance Homestead will talk about how these animals live, what they eat, and how they are important for human survival.

Tot Time is happening this month at Dickson Mounds!  Adults and their tots will have fun exploring, discovering, and learning on the first Thursday of the month. A different topic is featured each month. 

This month’s program will feature farm animals!  It’ll be a surprise to see which animals visit the program.  Tara Ricker, owner of Within Walking Distance Homestead will talk about how these animals live, what they eat, and how they are important for human survival.  Tots and caretakers may enjoy related hands-on crafts and activities. 

This program is free and registration is not required.  However, groups of 8 or more are encouraged to call the Museum at 309-547-3721 prior to the program date to ensure the availability of supplies.  Participants are welcome to enjoy the Museum exhibits after the program.
