During this weekly program, using the exhibits and providing hands-on experiences, Museum staff will highlight different aspects of the material culture of the indigenous people of Illinois. Learning how interpretation of these objects can educate us on not only how native people of Illinois lived in the past, but how these lifeways are carried forward through time and continue today. This program will focus on different aspects of native life, including technology, ecology, trade, and more.
This program will be held on every Friday, beginning February 3rd through April 28th, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Admission is free; however, donations are appreciated. Registration is not required.
