Spend an evening learning about a variety of insects and search the Museum grounds for what insects come out at night. Participants may learn about local insects through viewing collection specimens and live insects “in the field.” Learn about the different methods used to attract insects at night.
The program is from 9:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m. and will begin in the Museum’s Discovery Center before moving outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, activities will be modified and moved indoors.
In preparation, families should dress appropriately for outdoor conditions, wear sturdy foot-ware, and bring flashlights. Registration is not required. Admission is free; however, donations are appreciated.
