Whooo’s awake after dark? As we head to bed, a whole other world is waking up. From nocturnal animals to the amazing night sky, the world comes alive after dark. Dive into the world of bats with echolocation and create a 3D bat painting. Use a star chart to explore the night sky, and leave your mark on the moon. Visit with nocturnal animal friends from the Henson Robinson Zoo from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and listen to stories by famed storyteller Dan Keding at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  For more information, please contact events@illinoisstatemuseum.org or (217) 782-6044.
