You've never had an art class like this! In this high-energy half-day camp, kids will explore the Illinois State Museum and complete sketching challenges inspired by our new exhibit, Growing Up X. Participants will draw with one line like an Etch a Sketch, practice speed drawing using a polaroid picture frame, and reference classic video games to design a pixel cartoon. Kids will also collaborate on a painted project that they will display in the Play Museum.

ISM invites kids, ages 8-14, to join us for this half-day camp on March 23, 2023, from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Everyone will head home with their own sketch pads full of new ways to look at and think about art.

The fee is $15 for Museum members and $20 for non-members.

Advanced registration is required. Registration must be completed by March 13. You will receive a packet with more information after registering.
