Climate Change in Your Back Yard

April 22, 2022 to April 22, 2023

A warming planet impacts nature, society, and individuals in ways that might surprise you. The Illinois State Museum's new exhibit Climate Change in Your Backyard will present examples of how climate change is shaping Illinoisan lives in the heartland. From rural to urban centers, climate change affects us all, so we should understand the consequences and take action. Appearing in the “Hot Science” exhibit space, Climate Change in Your Backyard examines human and environmental stories on this timely issue, with a focus on the Midwest.
