Tot Time has returned to Dickson Mounds! Adults and their tots will have fun exploring, discovering, and learning on the first Thursday of the month. A different topic is featured each month.  Registration is not required and admission is free.

On November 5, the topic will be "Down on the Farm” presented by Tara Ricker, owner of Within Walking Distance Homestead, in Little America, Illinois (Fulton Co.). Tara will make her annual visit to tell us about farm life.  This year's special guest will be baby donkey Jacky!  Perhaps there will be other animals, too.  Join us to learn about how these animals live, what they eat, and how important they are to farm life. Tots will receive an Activity Bag to take home.

This program will be held on the Museum’s grounds. Dress appropriately for the outdoors. In the case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled.  Space and supplies are limited.  Upon arrival, participants will be directed to their “circle” and are required to stay within that area for the duration of the program.  The program will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.  and last approximately 30 minutes.

The 2020 Tot Time program series is sponsored by: Canton Chamber of Commerce, Havana National Bank, Jeff & Linda Sisson of Havana, Barbara Jackson of Peoria, Lewistown VFW Post 5001 Auxiliary, Prairie State Bank, Spoon River Electric's Operation Round-Up, and an anonymous donor
