Take a sneak peek at three new art and history exhibitions. Museum After Hours events feature live music, food, and fun. Guests can complete a make-and-take art project, meet the exhibit curators and artists, and share their own Illinois immigration story. All tickets include a free beverage. Food and additional beverages will be available for purchase.
“We are Illinoisans” tells the stories of immigrants to Illinois from the 18th century to today. “Jeanine Coupe Ryding: Coda for the Day” presents twenty-five large-scale woodcut prints of Evanston artist Jeanine Coupe Ryding. “Sing Muses: History and Allegory in Narrative Art” features art from the Museum’s collection that tell stories including myth, history, allegory and moral struggle.
Last Acre will provide live music. Drinks will include beer from Obed and Isaac's Microbrewery, wine from Danenberger Family Vineyards, and non-alcoholic beverages.
